 Budgets are a fact of life. Whether yours is modest or extravagant, it is human nature to want more than your budget will allow. 
If you haven’t already done so you need to determine what your budget will be. Consulting a financial professional is advisable before you begin the design/build process. Every detail from choice of lot to selecting bathroom hardware is subject to budget considerations.
Cherry Homes understands the elements of design and cost of components and will guide you through the selection process. This requires a willingness to make decisions consistent with your predetermined budget. When building a custom home, the components can be upgraded or changed and the cost can be adjusted accordingly. This allows you the final choice as to where you place the value, whether it be hardwood floors, rock exterior, extensive decking or your personal steam room.

Many folks come to us wanting to know “how much per square foot” will my new house cost? This is a difficult question since the cost of a home is based on much more than its size. For instance a small home (less than about 1,800 sq. ft.) costs much more per square foot than a larger home. The fixed costs of the lot, permits, utilities and expensive square footage such as kitchens and bathrooms will be the same. Since the quantity of less expensive square footage (bedrooms, family room, finished basement, bonus room, etc.) is less in a smaller home, the overall square footage cost is greater. 
Factors that contribute to the cost of a project are the topography of the build site, exterior and interior finishes, roof pitch and configuration, cabinetry and much more. We
have developed a questionnaire that enables us to determine what your specific needs, wants and requirements are and helps us arrive at a projected cost to build.
